The water leisure market is changing and growing in the European market with many expressing positive outlooks on what lies ahead in 2012.

The WWA resumed its educational outreach for its European members with the recently held European Waterpark Gathering hosted by the WWA's European Committee, 27 - 28 September in London.

This event, held during the Euro Attractions Show, featured an afternoon of educational panels led by some of the industry's most experienced water leisure professionals from facilities including Alton Towers, Bourne Leisure, Sandcastle Waterworld and The Time Capsule .

Innovative vendor companies in attendance included Water Technology, Aqua Leisure, S&P Architects, Lo-Q and Menerga. Attendees conversed on a variety of industry hot topics, including the latest advances in technology, innovations in rides and attractions, best practices in customer service and staff training, operational safety and much more.

Discussion also focused on how the water leisure market is changing and growing in the European market with many expressing positive outlooks on what lies ahead in 2012.

In addition, the World Waterpark Association recently announced plans to hold a European Symposium hosted by the Time Capsule in Coatbridge, UK, 28 - 29 February 2012.
